I LOVED THIS WEDDING! Hope you enjoy looking through these highlights!

Meeghan and Andrew were totally laidback but had a wonderful day planned for them and their guests to enjoy! What better setting than the fabulous Kent Life in Maidstone, complete with animals, museum relics and pretty landscapes to enjoy! It began as the hottest day ever – you think Andrew is wiping his tears in that photo during the ceremony – nope, more like his brow! Then later, it also managed to downpour so we were forever in and out to capture shots around the heat and rain! Just goes to show that even on a farm, rain doesn’t have to ruin your wedding day!

Meeghan chose her two sisters as her bridesmaids and what a stunning trio they are! I loved that they wanted to capture some fun, girly images during the bridal preparations in the morning! It’s always so great when there’s time to have some fun like this! I’m all for capturing natural moments but I’ve got to say, give me the opportunity to stage a few light-hearted shots and I’m so there! Andrew was just the same with his groomsmen! In fact, this bunch were just hilarious and as a result, we captured images of the bridal party and groomsmen clearly having a great time and this really reflects the spirit of the day!

There were a few touches at the wedding that I’d never seen before, which I love to share to give other couples some new ideas when planning their wedding! The first was that during the couple’s entrance to the wedding breakfast, the guests sang a song with lyrics provided on the tables! The second idea was that after the first dance, personalised maracas were handed out on the dance floor so that guests could really shake and shimmy! Great for young and old, and a really engaging way to liven up the dance floor!
