Congratulations on your engagement! So you’re probably looking for a wedding photographer right now, in which case, I am honoured if you are considering me, thank you! I know how important your wedding is to you and how much you’ll appreciate a lasting record of your day for years to come.
Tell me all about your wedding! What I’ve learned in the 5 years I’ve been professionally photographing weddings as a full-time job, is that whilst each is unique in its own way, there is a commonality which runs through each and every wedding, the reason I love being a wedding photographer and the reason you want to capture it at all – love.
However you’re planning to spend the day, you’ve thought about how you want it to look and feel with every decision you’re making – who you’ll invite, what you’ll wear, which venue, styling, food and entertainment you’ll enjoy. Photos are the permanent record of everything you’re planning to mark this special occasion.
As your wedding photographer, I aim to capture your big day much like a story – the way it starts, how it unfolds and of course, the beginning of your ‘happy ever after’! Wedding photography is all about preserving memories in images which will continue to provide laughter, happiness, joy (and maybe some unseen surprises!) long beyond the day… after the cake has been eaten, the dress has been dry-cleaned, the band have finished playing and the bouquet has decided the next bride-to-be!
You might like my style if you’d love to see your gallery filled with key moments, natural candids, the setting and details, interspersed with creative, loving photos of the two of you together looking your best. You might like me as your wedding photographer if you envisage someone friendly and relaxed but with an attention to detail.
For the majority of a wedding day, I aim to blend in and capture events exactly as they happen, which means I am constantly looking out for those moments and emotions that will retell your story. Your images should prompt your memories, tell of your relationships with your guests and of all the details, effort, time and love that went into making it uniquely yours.
With a relaxed, natural and yet romantic, whimsical and fairytale feel, my signature images aim to portray the love and happiness between you which has brought you to this day.
I’m a musicals-loving, tea-drinking, Netflix sci-fi watching, mummy to a 5-year-old, and have found photography to be the perfect career for my creative, theatrical personality. So get in touch, tell me all about your wedding and let me capture your love story.

Kate primarily photographs weddings in Kent, East Sussex and on the London/Kent border but happily accepts bookings across the south-east. She gladly welcomes all couples and all kinds of weddings. Kate also runs her own portrait studio in Sittingbourne where she specialises in children and families.
In telling the story of your day, your wedding photos will primarily feel very natural, capturing all the events, moments and relationships, and with a collection of relaxed and loving portraits of you together looking and feeling your best. Kate’s clients are often shy in front of the camera but soon relax into Kate’s friendly and informal approach, with enough guidance and direction to take away any awkward feelings but without the need for stuffy, traditional posing.
Couples often book Kate up to 2 years in advance with key dates filling up quickly so enquire asap to find out whether your date is available.
