Pre-Wedding Shoot At The Knowle Country House, Kent

I met Hazel, Mark and Doris at their wedding venue, The Knowle Country House in Higham (one of my faves) for their pre-wedding photoshoot. It was hard to concentrate with such a cute little puppy stealing the show but what fun we had! She certainly helped us create some wonderful lifestyle shots!

Do consider having an engagement or pre-wedding shoot as it will help you to build on the relationship with your wedding photographer, someone who will likely be with you for the whole of your wedding day. It’s an opportunity for a sort of ‘test run’, trying out being in front of a camera and, in some cases, a way to experiment at your venue without the pressure of the big day. Not everyone will have the chance to go to their venue for this, but if you and your photographer are able and willing, then why not?

You can use the photos for your ‘save the dates’ or invitations, if you fancy being a bit creative with them. Hazel and Mark have asked me to create them a guest book using their images, so that’s a lovely way to preserve them for the future.
