“Loved that the memories flooded back!”

I loved Ali and Andy’s subtle ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ theme which tickled the guests with its little personal touches here and there!

This couple were definitely not afraid to stray from tradition! One of the elements I noticed was different about their day was that they chose to have the speeches before dinner. I think this was to allow the speakers to quickly relax and get on with enjoying the wonderful meal!

The unusual arrangement of their day meant that we didn’t capture the traditional bride and groom portraits straight after the ceremony but instead we captured some (cold but beautiful) evening shots, at a time when so many other couples are already well into the swing of their evening reception to even remember that their photographer is usually still there! This was a fun break from the norm for me and I have been experimenting a little more with night portraiture at weddings in order to give couples something a bit different for their album.

The bridesmaids dresses were all a deep blue but were varied in style – this is such a great idea because it means that every girl can feel comfortable in a style that flatters her most. It makes for such pretty photos too!

I wish Ali and Andy a wonderful married life together.
