Wedding | Old Kent Barn – Swingfield | Louise & Matt
"Honestly, we cannot get enough of looking at our photos!! Thank you SO so much. We are absolutely in love with so many of them, even just whittling it down to 800 to share with guests was super hard. How we're going to select the ones to go in a photobook and frames I've no idea.
We've had so many lovely comments on the photos too from family and friends. And I thought it worth mentioning that a lot of guests commented about how during the ceremony and speeches you were so unobtrusive, a lot of the time they didn't even realise you were there! And we have to agree too - since when did you get so close up behind us during the speeches?!
We knew from the moment we saw your portfolio that we wanted you as our photographer, were so elated when you were available, and then from our first Skype call we knew it was just going to work. And we weren't wrong. Words cannot express just how happy we are with our photos. It's such a big day to photograph and you captured every moment perfectly. It's really helping us to relive the day over and over again.
We will, of course, recommend you to anyone and everyone we know who is organising their wedding, but we want to make sure we reach those people who we don't know too! And of course please also pass on our thanks to Amanda, who we know a lot of the shots wouldn't have been possible without. Thank you so much again!"
Louise and Matthew's wedding at The Old Kent Barn was a beautifully classic day with a rustic feel. With Louise waering lace and Matthew in blue, this couple were still bang on trend, which made for a lovely mix of traditional and modern.
I especially loved their sweets table which was filled with cakes and tasty treats lovingly made by their guests!
The day was tinged with a litte sadness due to a recent loss in the family but Louise and Matthew paid tribute in a number of ways, inlcuding photographs, charity donation favours, button-hole cake topper and a bouquet trinket, which are all wonderful ways to inlcude memories into such a special day.
Did you spot the centrepeices? I absolutely adored this idea! They made little collages of two photos side by side - i.e. second year together and second year growing = Table 2, and so on! Genius!
