“Thank you so much. We spent hours going through all the photos last night and they captured the day perfectly. We love them! Thank you again for giving us such wonderful memories of our special day! We have had so many comments from friends and family as to how beautiful the pictures are.”
Helen and Lee hired me for their Danson House wedding for part-day coverage, beginning with the ceremony and ending just after their first dance. We were blessed with beautiful late afternoon light following their ceremony. In this ever-changing British weather, we managed to enjoy a day of glittering, hazy sunshine during their reception downstairs in the cute, shabby-chic tea room, set in the beautiful surroundings of Danson Park in Bexley. We took advantage and captured both planned and spontaneous group shots which I think will forever be loved, treasured and giggled at for a long while yet (check out the girls lifting up Lee)!
I really do love Danson House. You’d never guess it was a registry office! In fact, it is one of my favourite venues to photograph as the steps, grounds and even the interior rooms, provide so many opportunities for photos. It definitely suits my light and airy style so if you’re planning a Danson House wedding, I’d love to hear from you! Here’s another, very small and intimate Danson House wedding I’ve also photographed. Others to follow shortly!
Helen looked absolutely stunning in her dress with diamante detailing on the straps and a beautiful lace train. No wonder she wanted a photo with it spread out (one of my faves from the day, I think)! So romantic! Even Lee saw the opportunity to grab a photo on his phone!
Over at The Boathouse, which is within a few minutes walking distance from Danson House, Helen and Lee had opted for a dark purple colour scheme. Just look at that gorgeous frilly cake!
Thank you to Helen and Lee, their children and all their guests for making me feel so welcome! I know they’ve just returned from their honeymoon! Time to make an album perhaps?!
